Initially created to monitor water levels in local channels and rivers that could cause flooding, Sambahayan has evolved into a comprehensive community safety platform.The app incorporates a Barangay Population Database, enabling swift dissemination of vital information such as reminders and alerts to residents. These notifications cover a wide range of events, including but not limited to: extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, internet outages, electrical blackouts, and water supply disruptions. Sambahayan's proactive approach to communication empowers residents with timely information, ensuring their preparedness and safety in times of crisis.
